Malta

Small and densely populated island in the middle of the Mediterranean, suitable for everyone, it can be an ideal short breaks throughout the year.

Warm climate, wild nightlife, a paradise for history lovers, beach and shopping lovers, numerous cultural treasures, hospitable locals ... Certainly it is suitable for travel with kids.

There is no inappropriate time to travel to Malta. I was there end of September, still a lot of tourists and high temperatures, which is more than great for swimming. You can use public transport, it`s comfortable and cheap. Bus connections lead to all attractions, sights and beaches.

GOZO

Half an hour boat ride across the 5-kilometer marine channel and you're already on the neighboring island Gozo. It`s the second largest island in the archipelago and it was the residence of an ancient legend, the goddess Calypso.

Mgarr is a small port city on the island and is the gateway for all travelers and tourists. Island impress with natural beauty and features. The most visited point is certainly Azur window. This magnificent stone bridge is located in the national park Dwejra.

The food is varied, popular mix of italian and english cuisine. It is similar to other parts of the Mediterranean with many seafood. For a typical Maltese dish applies rabbit, especially on the island of Gozo.

Comino

Completely uninhabited small islet, situated between Malta and Gozo is a paradise for divers, hikers and photographers. The main attraction of the island is the Blue Lagoon, which throughout the year attracts a lot of tourists. The crystal clear sea, snorkeling, white sand, coves, cliffs, ... A complete disconnection…I definitely recommend it!

... and more pictures, what to do in magnificent Malta ...
